The webinar will take an in-depth look at the year ahead in public education.
Parents and carers of NSW public school students are invited to attend a back-to-school webinar and question and answer session with Deputy Premier and Minister for Education and Early Learning Prue Car and NSW Department of Education Secretary Murat Dizdar.
The webinar will be hosted by P&C Federation NSW President Yvonne Hilsz from 7-7.45pm on Thursday 8 February.
A key focus of the webinar is the new Plan for NSW Public Education, as well as some of the challenges schools and parents are facing.
鈥淭his is a great opportunity for parents and carers to find out what鈥檚 happening in public education in NSW in 2024,鈥 Ms Hilsz said.
鈥淚t鈥檚 also a chance to have your questions answered by the Minister and the Secretary.鈥
Questions can be pre-submitted upon registering for the webinar.
Ms Hilsz said topics of discussion will include school funding reforms, inclusive learning environments, equitable outcomes, parents as partners in the learning journey, and the value of explicit instruction.
